About: Nestled on the serene western coast of the Island Garden City of Samal, Pearl Farm Beach Resort had once homed Daniel R. Aguinaldo’s Pearl Farm. It was originally an actual breeding ground for rare white-lipped oysters that were transported from the depths of the Sulu Sea. Fervidly nurtured, the oysters produced cultured pearls of white, gold and pink.
In 1992, it was converted into a family-owned resort upon the discovery of its exquisite and tropical beauty. On the same year, the resplendent blue waters cradling Pearl Farm Beach Resort has been declared a marine sanctuary to protect it from the ravages of dynamite fishing. Remarkable coral formations and marine life in the area has since then been preserved.
Instilled in Pearl Farm Beach Resort’s mission is the upliftment and promotion of the culture, arts, and skills of Mindanaoan native tribes. To be able to be one with its cultural roots demonstrated in its architecture, food, products — and even people — the resort finds its lifeblood.
