About Us: Rustan's Supercenters, Inc. (RSCI) was founded in 1998. It is a member of the Rustans Group of Companies and manages and operates the Rustan’s Supermarkets, Shopwise and Wellcome chain of groceries, hypermarkets and neighborhood stores, respectively. Shopwise is the Group’s first major foray into the discount retailing segment through an adapted European-style hypermarket. The highly successful Shopwise brand pioneered the hypermarket concept in the Philippines in 1998 and is known for its affordable quality, everyday freshness, budget-friendly variety, and fast, friendly, and fun service. In May 2012, RSCI partnered with the Dairy Farm International Group, a leading multi-national, multi-format retailer in the Pan-Asian. Dairy Farm operates over 5,700 outlets including supermarkets, hypermarkets, health and beauty stores, convenience stores, home furnishings, and restaurants under well-known brands all over Asia like,Mannings, ThreeSixty, Giant, Jasons, Guardian, Ikea, Cold Storage, and 7-Eleven, to name a few. The group's businesses are managed from Hong Kong by Dairy Farm Management Services, Ltd. through its regional offices. Dairy Farm is a member of the Jardine Matheson Group.Today, with 13 hypermarkets spread across the greater Metro, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro, and, under the management of DFIG, Shopwise continues to deliver modern retailing to the aspirational Filipino middle class family.
