About: Baguio is one of the favorite stops of people who go to the Philippines . Where else in the Philippines can people enjoy the cool climate and still enjoy the amenities of being in the Third World. If people are tired of that mountain air and want to have a change of scenery, they can go down to La Union where they can enjoy the warm sands and beautiful beaches of La Union. There are public buses that have depots in Baguio. Or hire a car with a driver!
The Villa Lourdes-Baguio is just the perfect vacation place for people from abroad and even from the lowlands. It is located in the area of the famous Lourdes Grotto in Baguio City.
It is very quiet but is still within the city limits. Just one ten-minute Jeepney ride from Naguilian Road and you are in the Maharlika Market at the heart of the city. From there, you can walk to Burnham Park, Session Road, SM Baguio, the restaurants in the city—just almost anywhere of interest in Baguio!
Of course, you should make that pilgrimage to the Lourdes Grotto! Climb up those 270 steps! First, make your wishes to the Our Lady of Lourdes, then turn around and let your heart swell to the panoramic view of Baguio City.
The Villa Lourdes is actually a private vacation house owned by a family who lives most of the time abroad and in Manila. Stay at any of its four guest rooms that will accommodate two to three people each except for the Master’s Bedroom, which can accommodate 4 people in the two Queen sized beds.
Bookings and payments have to be done prior to arrival at the Villa. Only two guests to a room are allowed on two of the bedrooms, three people in a third bedroom, and 4 – 6 people in the Master’s Bedroom. So, at any one time, the Villa can accommodate around 11-13or more guests. This provides for a very enjoyable for vacationing families.
The daily rate per person in P500 or P1,000 for a 2-person room. Most guests can bring their cook to fix their meals or eat at the local restaurants in the area.
