About: Dr. Marshall has been a pioneer in preventive dentistry, and in the 1970's was VP of the NY chapter of the American Academy of Preventive Dentistry.
He has authored 3 books for the public, the latest being "Gum Disease:Care & Treatment-Completely revised 2015"
His philosophy includes preventing decay with nutritional instruction, the latest proprietary methods of plaque removal, including Perio Protect and Levionex, and Orasure, as well as instruction in proper brushing, flossing and correct use of the waterpik.
In addition to having his own practice for many years, Dr. Marshall has guided other dentists in teaching them his preventive methods, and has also founded the Periodontal sections of 3 other practices, and taught them what they needed to provide their patients.
He would sincerely like to help all his patients keep the results of his treatment by instituting the correct hygiene techniques at home, and coming in for checkups every 3 months if periodontally treated.
